4 reasons why we've been shortlisted as Agency of the Year in the Marketing and Digital Recruitment Awards

Not only have we been shortlisted as ‘Agency of the Year’ in this years’ Marketing and Digital Recruitment Awards (MDRA), we’ve also been shortlisted in the ‘Best Client Service’ category for our hard work supporting our clients and investing in our services.

Here are the top four reasons why we’ve made the ‘Best Client Service’ shortlist:

1) Macildowie One

This year we launched our new Macildowie One programme, we work with our clients closely to understand exactly what they want in a candidate, we then handpick, profile and shortlist all the strongest candidates. Once this process is complete we arrange for our clients to interview the selected candidates all in one day and find their best fit. This streamlined and simple process takes all the legwork out of the recruitment process and on average saves our clients two to three weeks of their time. 2) Mindmill Psychometric Analysis Workshops

Our unique Psychometric Analysis tool helps map out a candidate’s soft skills, picking up on qualities which may not be apparent in an interview situation or on a CV. The tool assesses qualities including problem solving, attention to detail and numeracy skills. The data Mindmill provides helps us recruit the best candidates to fit our clients’ business.

This year we’ve taken Mindmill a step further and designed a specialist workshop for our clients. Our workshop enables us to understand a client’s requirements and values – we are able to develop our understanding of a client’s needs through the workshops, again, helping us to recruit the best candidates for the business.

3) Employer Brand

We’ve been experts in recruitment for over 20 years. We know that recruitment is not just a one way street, and because of this we’re able to advise clients on attracting the best talent and hooking in candidates.

Our recruitment experts are passionate about what they do, and work hard to promote their client’s to candidates. By developing job specifications and adverts, a candidate’s experience is improved at the application and interview level. We can also spend time working with clients to build and improve their Employee Value Proposition, overall developing their employer brand and encouraging candidates to engage with them.

We’ve also been working with employers to help them recruit for free, our innovative ‘LinkedIn Workshops’ give line managers and HR resourcing professionals the tools to recruit for themselves via LinkedIn. The workshops have already been delivered to over 400 businesses in the UK. Workshops have a range of topics including: ‘how to find candidates that don’t apply to job adverts’, ‘how to approach people once you have found them’ and ‘how to present your individual profile and company brand for maximum return on investments’.

4) Talent Pipelining

We recognise that our clients’ recruitment needs can sometimes be unexpected and urgent. We want to support our client’s through unpredictable times by making sure we constantly have a good supply of talent on our books. By interviewing each candidate and having them undertake our Mindmill test in advance, it means when our clients’ become ready to recruit they already have a pool of talent waiting.

This pool of talent has enabled us to offer our ‘Start Candidate Alert’ programme. We keep an eye on our candidates and alert clients when a potential star candidate comes along, ensuring that they don’t miss out on the best talent when it’s available even if they aren’t looking to hire.
